Pretty decent railroad reporting for a couple of newspapers, other than saying the Hi Line detours are turning south at Sandpoint (should read Bonners Ferry), and spelling Sandpoint as two words.

I haven't heard how BNSF is coping with the added traffic over Marias, but between Whitefish and Sandpoint it's causing huge headaches due to the usual chokepoints at Flathead Tunnel and Kootenai River Canyon.


Hey Kyle, are you doing any shooting of all this detour stuff? Sounds like a great time to be out in the heart of Montana. Also, got any updates on that coal branch being built north of you?
