I made a couple phone calls and would like to report the presence of "immaculate smoke" as there
doesn't seem to be any fire under the smoke. Quadra has said they'd used rail if it was available
and copper prices came back up but until China starts really coming around that's not likely. The
other thing they mentioned was that the transmission network for the wind farms wasn't taking
shape as expected so that the bulk copper requirements just aren't there. The power plants are
still on hold and the two new moly mines aren't doing much beyond exploration. So smoke and no
fire plus the investment to bring the line to Class 2 would be at least $10-12 million.
