Tonight we finish on Alex's visit to the Steam Fest.
Photo 1 - Little River Railroad 4-6-2 No.110 approaching west Main Street in Owosso on the former Michigan Central line as it was heading back to Owosso with a one-hour trip on July 24th
Photo 2 - Southern Pacific 4-8-4 No. 4449 blasts through Ashley, Michigan en route back to Owosso on July 24th.
Photo 3 - The Michigan state police were out in full force on the chase routes for all four days of the event, mainly providing protection at major grade crossings. This scene is typical of what we saw during the four day event. This photo was taken on the outskirts of Owosso as the all-day trip to Alma was returning on July 25th. Ex-Milwaukee Road Sky Top lounge car "Cedar Rapids" is bringing up the markers.
Photo 4 - Nickel Plate Berkshire No. 765 acclerates away from the photo runby at Ithaca on July 25th. There were several hundred chasers on this day.
