Coal Train on the EWG

For those who may be interested, BNSF will be delivering a 119 car unit coal train for storage on Eastern Washington Gateway Railroad, if the current schedule holds, sometime Friday morning. U ALRCHY 9 01 is currently in Shelby, MT (trace car for those who have that capability is MBKX 4002).

Plans call for a "headlight meet" in Cheney with the BNSF road power to be pulled off and replaced with SD45's NIWX 8924 and NIWX 375. We are planning to operate the train, whenever it arrives, to west of Hartline, MP 97.

We'll keep you posted on arrival time for those interested in photographing this unusual move.
