Before the movie was filmed, I was contacted by a movie advance person (I had previously told her about the Eagle's Nest tunnel used in a River Runs Through It). She told me the story line - someone hijacks a peacekeeper train and is moving the train towards Denver along Colorado's front range. They needed a tunnel (in a Northern Colorado) type setting to be used to destroy the missile (the missile would be in the raised position when it appoaches the tunnel). I directed her to CMR as they had a tunnel that matched what she wanted. Needless to say the story changed.
