At the time those C30-7s were in the LRC fleet, LRC was not owned or a part of MRL. MRL was forced due to a railroad retirement issue to sell off the Livingston backshop and has only recently repurchased it now that the issues have cleared up and also because its owner (Talgo) came on hard times and sold out. The C30-7s went to South America--at least some of them did anyway. (By the way, the loss of the Livingston Backshop is why Washington Corp bought CEECO, which has proven to be a good investment). Some of the C-30s were modified by ATSF to SF30C in a program that was less than successful.
