GN X 458A E with 474B and 474C heads thru Spokane, WA. 3-21-65 Notice all of the yellow reefers on the train, this was common in the area, especially around apple harvest. The GN hugged the Spokane River and close to this site is Spokane Falls, hidden in a jungle of dilapidated buildings and junk piles. Most of this area was pretty much a depressed area in 1965 and is to become the future site of the 1969 World's Fair. All of this trackage has been removed and all new buildings put up. Absolutely nothing in this scene exists today.
