Snow shots already!

A favorite subject of mine is Mt. Rainer ... and a train. I'm always looking for a new angle... some way to work a train into a scene with the volcano. It was rather surprising (maybe it shouldn't have been) to find that after not being able to see the volcano for a couple of days, when it appeared, it had nice new coat of snow. I had a location waiting for just the right conditions, so off I went and got there just in time for a Cascades train to enter the scene. Best of all, I didn't have to leave my home town.
