Snow around Kalispel last Thursday night with near blizzard conditions around the area. This past weekend was record-shattering cold in the Flathead Valley (as well as over the Divide--broke records by 15 degrees). As much as I love it over there, I'm kind of glad that we were just visiting for the weekend. With the long, warm late summer, the trees are barely even changing color and still fully leafed-out, so the snow was REALLY bending them over. I got some snow ahots on the 10th Sub--way too early for that. Supposed to be back in the upper 50s this week though.
