To finish Dick Seelye's cryptic comments, NW Weekend is a travel insert in the Thursday Seattle Times. The article includes schedule, fare & shuttle bus information from the new Icicle Station to downtown Leavenworth, WA. For those not in the know, Leavenworth is a larger version of Solvang, CA., with a Bavarian theme, ( even the McDonalds has a yodeler ), and a well attended Snow Festival in December. Alki Tours in Seattle runs chartered Amtrak trains to this event on Saturdays in December,this year the 5th, 12th, & 19th.
