I enjoyed it on ABC's national news. Repeated it many times, courtesy of TiVo.

The pantograph / trolley wire segment shows how the wire is staggered so as to develop a broad wear pattern on the carbon inserts, thus longer life. Here in the West, the same practice can be observed on all of the city lines using pantographs.

If you partake of a shop tour, see the wear pattern on pans receiving new carbons at the workbench.
