Demolition of the "Oakland Mole"

I wanted to share these photos to show the condition of SP's "Oakland Pier" site:
known to some as the "Oakland Mole" during the time it was being torn down.
The extended long trainsheds leading out toward the Interlocking Tower have already
been torn down.
These photos make me feel very sad because my grandfather used to take me
there as a young boy, so many, many times and I have very vivid memories of how the place "used to be". For those that never got a chance to see it-- it was simply an amazing edifice.

Thanks to "John Harder" for capturing these images for the history books.
