Mission Bay Wye (San Francisco)

Does anybody know who/when the last customer to get service off of this section of track in San Francisco was?

And although Mission Bay is now a commercial district with no industry, why was the wye taken out of service? I know Caltrain being a push-pull operation doesn't need a wye at all in San Francisco, but it seems it would be good to have the ability to wye any special trains that might run up the peninsula.
