Traffic is almost non-existant.

Those who gasp at the mere mention of the A&K need to take a closer look at some of their other shortline operations. The A-OK comes to mind first, but there are others. Scrapping is a last resort, and means the line was not worth anything despite best efforts. Some lines actually are hopeless.
