November Light...in Western Oregon???

Okay, I realize the generally accepted belief about western Oregon's weather is that it's wet, and how that especially holds true from about October to June. Yet in the middle of all that rain, sometimes the clouds tear open ever so briefly before reforming for the next shower, as they did on Veteran's Day:

MRVPT heading north on Union Pacific's Brooklyn Sub between Eugene and Albany, Oregon.
Amtrak no. 11 stopping in Albany, Oregon.

And sometimes we even get blue skies in November!

Albany & Eastern's Mill City Local heading out the branch with two empty boxcars.

Hope you enjoy,

Scott Lothes
Corvallis, Oregon
