First Doublestack Over Donner Today

UP ran their first doublesack over Donner today. The IOAOG departed Roseville at 7:58AM. It ran with three units on the headend and a single DPU on the rear. Clean units were put on the train. It arrived Roseville at 4:30AM and was held in the Rockpile until its departure time to allow the sun to come up for photos. Lead unit was the 7828. It took the #2 track out of Roseville to Bowman where it crossed over to #1 to Colfax where it crossed over to #2 to Switch 9. It arrived in Sparks at 2:30PM. The two trailing units on the headend were set out and it departed Sparks 1 by 1. The train had 332 axles out of Roseville. In the coming weeks the rest of the stack trains will begin showing up on Donner.
