Another great shot, Drew.

I checked the roster details on this unit and found that it is former SP SD9 #4433, and belonged to George Lavacot (Lavacot Locomotive Works) before becoming a P&W unit.

Incidentally, this is the second P&W SD9 to carry the number 1854. The first was one of two former Chicago & Illinois Midland SD9s transferred to P&W after Genesee & Wyoming acquired the railroad. These units (the other was numbered 1855) continued to wear their C&IM colors after coming to Oregon but received small P&W logos. Both were retired and scrapped around 2004.
