I gave my newlywed wife a tour of Feather River Country on our way home from Reno last year. I have always loved ' The Forgotten Corner ' of California, as I call it, and now my wife does too. Having been born & raised ( 31 years ) in SoCal before moving to Puget Sound in 1995, I've often said I would never again live in the Late Great Golden State, but Plumas County is one of the few places I would consider. Any CA. county that makes the news when they get their FIRST traffic signal is OK by me.
