Just for the sake of clarity, when SP abandoned the portion of the Stonehurst line between Elmhurst and Stonehurst, it built a new connection from the south end of the joint WP/SP Drill Track that ended next to the Granny Goose plant on the south side of 98th Avenue to the remaining Stonehurst line in 105th Avenue east of the WP crossing. Trackage rights on WP's main line weren't involved.

The old Chevy plant on Bancroft was demolished when the new one was built at Warm Springs. The Eastmont Mall sits on the old plant site.
