I was thru there last Friday. They aren't making a big pile, but are steadily cutting and putting the remains directly into gondolas as they go. There are still a few visible long strings around town. From the UP Plummer Turns that I have seen coming into Spokane, they seem to have 3 to 4 gons per train (average)--making about 9-12 per week. It looks like there are remains of 2 log flats per gon. Do the math.
