The track south of the Perris Depot (which will be a Metrolink stop -- currently under construction) forks going south to and a little through the Orange Empire Ry Museum (the Museum runs on the track on weekends and special events) and going south east to Hemet, stopping short of the depot to serve one customer, a lumber yard I've heard. The train goes as far as Hemet maybe once a week but works the grain elevators north of Perris a few times a week. The day I took the picture the train was coming back from Hemet and was north of the Perris Depot and just south of the first grain elevator.

San Jacinto, CA is north and east of Hemet. The tracks stop at least 4 miles short of San Jacinto, CA. So the train does not even get to it namesake.

Thanks for the info.
