No day-lighting ever took place on the peninsula. The only change was to Tunnel 5, which is abandoned but still there. Tunnel 2 itself looks almost exactly the same today, minus the big tower in the background and the siding/switch stand. In addition, 280 is to the right of this shot and likely would not come into view if the shot were attempted today.
