A new roof on the unused station.... isn't that nice! If there were any rationale shown by the city of Novato, a station platform would be built. A stop in downtown (Old Town) has quite a bit to offer to the city. Perhaps people would actually ride to Novato for shopping, dining, etc. Think sales tax revenue. Also a huge condo/apartment complex recently opened within a very short walking distance. As it stands those people would have to drive their evil non-green automobiles to the stop at Atherton Avenue or at Hamilton. More likely once they are in the car, they'll probably drive to their destinations. Good luck SMART! Wake up Novato.
