The plans are currently still being developed and are nearing the 90% submittal. There are currently NO plans for a coal or gas-fired plant anywhere out there. There is a plan for some "amenities" which could make the Geiger Spur fairly busy, but that's a seperate project. The biggest issues facing the project currently are the Highway 902 grade crossing and the utility accomodations. Construction is planned for next summer with completion before September. The new line will be 3.43 miles long from what will be called "Geiger Jct." on the CW line and tie in to the existing line west of Craig Road.
