With only 300 seats, I can see how supply and demand would dictate this pricing. I know that in the Pacific Limited days, UP provided 16-18 car trains with around 600 seats. I wonder if there is less equipment available nowadays then there was a few years back? Or UP just elected to send a smaller train-set out for this trip?
