You said the "Mars" light. There are two of them. Do you mean the red one? In the photo, I can't tell if the red one is lighted. The red light is intended for use on double-or-more-track. If the brakes are applied in emergency or the train-line hose breaks apart, the red Mars light is turned on automatically. This is to warn an opposing train on another track that the train may be de-railed and may be fouling the track as a result of the emergency brake application. In the photo, the other Mars light, the white one at the top, is not lighted. I don't know if the red Mars light can be switched on manually.

Can anyone tell me if the Mars Company is still manufacturing these oscillating lights?
