Here's some detailed pictures of the Oregon Pacific Railroad crew and diesel mechanic Jerry Van Loo removing a power assembly out of an EMD SW8, resealing the assembly and reinstalling it. The pictures give an interesting perspective on what is required to remove and reinstall a power assembly in a locomotive, out in the field.
