Some Sierra

Photo One: On Tuesday March 31, 2009 Evan Werkema and I chased the Sierra Northern train on the Oakdale Division of the Sierra Railroad. Sierra 50 is on the Trestle near Junction Shopping Center in Sonora, CA at about 2:30 pm.

Photo Two: Later the same day, Sierra 50 is westbound approaching Wamble Road not far from Oakdale, CA at 6:30pm.

Photo Three: Shortly before taking over Santa Cruz branch operations, Sierra 48 waited in the Watsonville Junction yard.
