Martin, I didn't start shooting until about 1978, but even my stuff from the 1980s seems like ancient history, despite being able to remember so much of those moments like they were just last year. Really makes me feel like the old man when I show something to my son that's a quarter century or more in the past. Jeez, just yesterday we dropped by the east end of Hauser Yard for some evening glint shots of eastbounds roaring up out of the refueling facility. Only been about a year or so since my last visit there and already one of the prime shots is ruined by a treetop that has risen into the scene. Too wide at the base for any quick removal with a hand saw. Time does march on, and it doesn't take long before the things we see today are either radically changed, or gone for good. BTW, that GN boxcar on your helper shot was a nice bonus!
