1900 Rail Road Plans

Hi I am looking for some help understanding some old Northern Pacific Rail Plans abbreviations. The particular curve data that I have shows a station 2299+89.0 E.H.B. Wye + 0+00 Ld73.0. H. B. is used at other stations as well, while the Ld is not always used. Any help would be much appreciated.
