Give David a chance. It was a very long day yesterday and he has to drive back home to southern California and etc. He may want to re-word the letter after his discussions yesterday.
I can't and won't speak for him, but speaking for myself, it was obvious that yesterday's attendance, number of vendors and amounts of merchandise offered were thinner than in years past. Blame it on the economy, reality, whatever. Not too many people make a full time job and living off their railfan hobby (unless you want to count Warren Buffet!!) Most all of those people/vendors at Winterail have other full time jobs or are retired.
