I know how much I will miss this board if it goes away--and would also spend a few bucks to keep it going. I would only hope that many of the "members" of the other board would choose to join up too due to their valuable input--but realize that when you start asking people to pay for multiple memberships, choices get made. This board is the perfect mixture of information WITHOUT all of the bells and whistles that the "other" board has--which I don't use (due to lack of time) and don't wish to pay for.
The problem with being an "owner" of a membership Board--and being its moderator, is that it takes more than just the "hour per day" to do the pruning. You also have to do the membership stuff. Of course, if a person makes it just profitable enough to be happy and does it out of their home, just think of all of the write-offs that business could bring. (I might not be fully up to speed on the "benefits" since I haven't had an at-home business for about 20 years when my wife had one).
