That is a damn shame, Drew. You are a fine artist, with much to offer. And with the sense of history and context you provide along with your work, it all belongs in the Library of Congress American Memories Photo collection. We were lucky to ever have it.

But I suppose that if we ever gave it any thought, we all knew it would eventually come to this. Unprincipled and anti-social behavior has always inflicted a poverty of soul to all those involved, guilty or not - often followed by very real poverty, community wide. We are the ones losing out here, even those of the vast innocent majority.

All thanks to the cyber-bullies in our (railfan) community. But it doesn't stop there. I have yet to be in attendance at any so-called railfan gathering, ever; whether at the local hobby shop, or even just being down at the depot, where there is not someone pushing others around (including the paying passengers), or trying to "one-up" everybody else. In every single case, when these very real bullies don't get their way, they get real nasty real fast.

Anymore, I almost always avoid such gatherings myself. So I don't blame you for withdrawing. Especially since this last episode seemed to provoke hateful comments towards many on this forum. I'll bet we never hear from them again either. We will be the poorer for it.

Nevertheless Drew, I for one hope you will eventually see your way clear to posting your work here again. At least put it in the Library of Congress, along with the commentary. I think it's quite safe to say - the vast majority of those here love your work and support you. DON'T LET THE BASTARDS WIN !
