I stopped at the Watsonville Yard this afternoon and saw two GP38-2’s with a string of 18 tanker cars and 4 center beams. Thought these might be the load for the Santa Cruz Branch tomorrow. Then they moved forward and revealed an endless line of Army trucks on flat cars behind the center beam cars. This train appears to be headed south. I did not see any other tank cars in the yard that might be for storage on the track south of Davenport.
