Martinez and Port Chicago in 1975

In 1975 you could still get to Port Chicago, CA and drive on Port Chicago highway. It was very close to where I lived, in Concord. Often I would do a circuit starting in Port Chicago, heading west through Avon to Martinez, CA; then back home.
