Don't think it is Eugene Oregon. The SP (now Amtrak) depot is brick, and no fireplace. Don't remember seeing any Oregon Depots with "Southern Pacific" spelled out on them, usually just the locations name. The license plate looks kind of like one of the ones from Oregon, but they didn't start using the blue on yellow version until about 1974. Earlier license were yellow on blue, which this car would have had if bought new and licensed in the state of Oregon. Just my 2 cents.
