That is great photo Nate! Thanks for sharing this!! I remember in 1984 my friend and I waited there for the 4449 (World's Fair Daylight-from Portland to New Orleans). What was a nice bonus was seeing the SP East Pleasanton Turn behind two GP-9's cross the bridge and went up through the Niles Canyon on the SP line. This was a day I won't forget.
