Shots like that are deliberately exposed that way. It called Photographic Impressionism.
It's a great picture. True enough - It ain't a roster shot, but its artistry is that of a master. As with many of Drew's photos, it too belongs in the "Library of Congress American Memories Collection". It would be proudly hung in any gallery I know of. Anyhow, #2 is now in my screen saver collection.
I don't know sir, what your artistic tastes are (maybe we actually do now), but many of us are into fine art and fine photography, just as much as we are into trains. Drew has a knack of bringing both of these two together; of which this picture is another fine example.
I just wish that he could let stupid comments role off like water off a duck's back; so that he wouldn't be pained so much. But anyway, keep 'em coming Drew - I'm sure the vast majority of us appreciates your artistic talent.
