Suann Lundsberg at BNSF tells me an existing "high-priority intermodal" (translation: ZSSECHC)began making pick-ups at Quincy April 1. She says the service "will be available potentially six days a week depending on market demands." A formal grand opening is scheduled for April 20.

A "leading" train news site previously reported this was going to be a "domestic double-stack train" launched by BNSF, in a story datelined "Forth Worth, Texas" to make it appear as if BNSF had issued the announcement or supplied info for the story. That story was in fact simply lifted from a perishables industry publication. BNSF has so far issued no press release or other broadcast statement about the Quincy service.
