Eric, assuming that you are visiting Astoria Oregon there are no train operations on the A-Line into Astoria. A few miles east of Astoria at Knappa the line is severed by a dike breach. This breach is scheduled to be fixed in August. Currently Portland & Western Railroad operates as far as Wauna as this as far west as there is freight traffic. With the Port of Astoria leasing the Tongue Point facility, the Port hopes to attract industry with an intact rail line.
I believe the Astoria Trolley is operating on City of Astoria owned tracks. You will find some great brews in Astoria.
Astoria is a great town to visit!
