BNSF Harbor Sub new MofWl work in El Segundo

Earlier today I had to make a trip up to Ingelwood. I chose to drive up from Redondo Beach to check out the Rails of the UP and BNSF in El Segundo. To my surprize the BNSF had a crew replacing the grade crossing at 120th st. across from Northrup Grummon, along with new rail and ties. kinda weard that they would spend the time and money on a line that see's no trains except for parking baretables from time to time. It looked like the crossing had been done at 118th st.
Also I had noticed a very large stock pile of rail and fenced in, just to the south of Imperial with a gate off the BNSF spur.
