XKT was getting plate steel on flatcars very sporadically back in 2006, and the construction/manufacturing market dropping out probably hasn't been helping that... I believe the shipper was somewhere back east originating on the Norfolk Southern.

Alco Metals had gone exclusively to trucks before I fled California, but I heard from a former CFNR dispatcher that they'd get a gon for Alco every blue moon or so until all he quit and all Mare Island service was discontinued a la Lennar.
