While I've never had a job that involved a lot of travel, I've been sent on some biz trips in my life, and always tried to catch whatever railfanning was possible. Unfortunately, on such limited time, it's usually just a shot here or there that you manage to pull off.
Here are three such shots to share.
First is one of the unique Canadian LRVs in Toronto... A lot of this trip, I was in meetings with these things running just outside the window, but I couldn't really get any shots.

Second is the #4 train in New York City, unloaded for a Yankee game that I couldn't get tickets to. (Man do those trains get crowded... had to let two trains go and then force my way in like a bulldozer finally.)

Finally (although this is not a rail vehicle really) is the fixed guideway running Air Train at SFO passing the control tower.
