Not to sound defense, but in my mind, in this shot, the train was the subject, in it's distinct setting.
I have shot form the other side, usually a "head-on" shot with the bridges more in the background (there's one or two on Railpics). It would be tough to shoot this same angle from the other side, requiring a very low tide. As you can see there is no "beach" to walk along to get underneath the bridges. Morning sun doesn't light up the tracks, so shooting in the opposite direction might be rather challenging from a lighting stand point. All that said, it's on the list to check it out when the next low tide allows access.
