Eastern Washington Gateway (EWG) operates the branch between Cheney WA and Coulee City WA. On Monday 5/24 they will be assembling a 130 car coal train which should be departing Cheney eastbound early that evening with BNSF power. Also a 60 car "scoot" grain train went to Ritzville to the Templin grain facility Sat evening 5/22 and should be returning to Cheney Mon or Tues. Might be a chance to see a couple of SD45s on the BNSF mainline. If the scoot train gets to Cheney before the coal train leaves, then the scoot will be taken west of Reardan to get it in the clear of the coal train.
