RE: Tehachapi forecast from the NOAA website:
Today: Scattered rain and snow showers. Some thunder is also possible. Snow level 4400 feet. Cloudy, with a high near 46. Breezy, with a west northwest wind between 20 and 25 mph, with gusts as high as 36 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
Tonight: A slight chance of rain and snow showers before 11pm. Snow level 4900 feet. Cloudy, then gradually becoming partly cloudy, with a low around 31. Blustery, with a northwest wind 21 to 24 mph decreasing to between 11 and 14 mph. Winds could gust as high as 33 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 55. West northwest wind between 8 and 17 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph.
Pretty unusual for May 23; any year! It's ususally hot and dry by now. Yesterday, we dogcaught at Bealville, and I thought the peaks above Hart Flat had a dusting of snow, but I couldn't be sure.
