Last weekend for Sumpter Valley #19

Memorial day will be the last day for operation of Sumpter Valley Railway #19 (Alco ng 2-8-2). Its FRA certification will expire require a total rebuild of which only about 1/4 is presently funded.

Hiesler #3 (wood burner) will resume duties as the primary locomotive for running trains on weekends.
