SL & RG 1744 (ex Espee)

Soooo, while everybody is whipping themselves into a frenzy over the double headers up north, the folks in Alamosa, Colorado have quietly brought the ex Espee 1744 back to life.

She was fired up yesterday for the first time in six or so years. After a a little tweeking, adjusting and fine tuning, she'll be ready to haul steam excursions over La Veta Pass this weekend.
