Please note that the term " Columbia River Subdivision " , as used by BNSF, is somewhat misleading in this context. Edwall, WA., is appx 30 miles West of Spokane, on the line to Wenatchee & Stevens Pass. This line merely crosses the Columbia River ( East of Wenatchee @ Rock Island, WA.,), and is NOT the line that runs along the Columbia River from Pasco to Portland, OR. That line is called the Fallbridge Subdivision.
Any word yet on Amtrak for tonight ???
