It sounds like a stretch to have all new signals up by
the end of 2010, but I guess the handwriting is on the
wall nonetheless. I wonder if this upgrade includes the
signals within yard limits as well, specifically the Cants
in Albany and Salem. It seems like the those two signals,
in addition to a couple of standard searchlights would still
be needed to help protect passenger trains at stations.
